When Chandler enlist the help of Phoebe to find the perfect engagement ring for Monica, but after finding it Chandler realizes he has left his money at home. Phoebe is left alone at the store to grade the ring but gets distracted by all the jewelry and fails to do so. So, she decides to go track it down. The rings terns out to have been bought by anther man. Phoebe tracks the ring down, her and Chandler interrupts the enactment and convince the guy to sale him the ring. Meanwhile Joe and Ross become upset by all the time Chandler and Phoebe are spending together unaware of the true reason and decides to cut Chandler out of there lives.

After being accosted of homophobia by his daughter Janet during the Toronto Pride Week Mr. Kim decides to give a “gay” discount at his store, using his amazing gaydar to decides who is eligible for it. Daring the day a man enters the store claiming his gay, but Mr. Kim is not convinced, later he returns with his boy friend but still Mr. Kim is not convinced, and the boyfriend and Mr. Kim come to the concoction that he might be Bi. While this Eomma desperately attempt to set Jennet up with a “cool Christian Korean boyfriend”, Janet fights the notion claiming there are no such things as “cool Christian Korean boyfriend”.
